My offline payment schema selected for an ECB Technical Talk on Digital Euro

In December 2023 I had the privilege of contributing to the public discussion on the European Central Bank’s Digital Euro project. My proposal was selected for the “Technical talk on secure exchange of payment-related data.”

The engagement of the ECB’s team was part of a series of public expert calls, where I presented my research on an offline payment protocol. This protocol is a result of my work as a researcher at University of Salento. The same technology is now taking a leap into the market as Snaproof, a startup focused on bringing this innovation to different industries.
